PLAY Fore THE KIDS: 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Join us for a day on the greens that makes a lifetime of difference. We are proud to host our 3rd Annual PLAY Fore THE KIDS Charity Golf Event to support local children and families recovering from abuse.

Every drive, chip, and putt helps provide critical resources—including a child-centered interview experience, counseling, and legal advocacy—right here in our community. Whether you’re a scratch golfer or just out for fun, your participation helps give a voice to those who need it most and provides a pathway toward healing and safety.

Together, we can tee off for a brighter, safer future.

  • Location: Lick Creek Golf Course, Pekin

  • Impact: 100% of proceeds go directly to the Children’s Advocacy Centers supporting Tazewell, Woodford, and Mason counties

Dust off your poodle skirts, bell bottoms, or neon leg warmers for the Dance the Decades fundraiser – bringing together live music and community to support abused children and their families!

Get ready to groove through the generations on August 23rd! We are thrilled to announce “Dance the Decades,” a charity fundraiser dedicated to supporting the critical services provided by the Tazewell County Children’s Advocacy Center.

This exciting event will feature The Flying D’Rito Brothers band performing hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, offering a chance for attendees to relive their favorite musical eras while supporting a vital community cause.

Dressing up is not mandatory but is sure to add to the night’s excitement.  Fun prizes for best costumes in each era!

Guests will also enjoy a unique experience with special guest bartenders serving throughout the night.  We have a local comedian and an elected official among the “celebrities”, follow us on Facebook for the big reveals!

Recent Events:

PLAY Fore THE KIDS Golf Outing held April 26th raised $3k for the children in our area!  THANK YOU!

 

 

Past Events:

A long-standing tradition that we were not able to bring back after Covid shut it down.  Since this was always our biggest fundraiser, we have been rethinking new and exciting fundraisers we can plan to replace the funds generated from this one event.

 

Dueling Pianos was held on September 23rd at the Sunset Hills Golf Course and Eatery (formerly known as Mashies) in Pekin.  We had a great turnout and the guys from Chicago were amazing.  Everyone had a GREAT time and we raised much needed dollars for the kids that are helped by Children’s Advocacy Center.
